New Adult Sunday School Classes Begin January 10th at 9:15 a.m.

One of our most popular classes each year is the “I Have Good News for You” class that is taught by Marty Hauser & Spike Moyer.  It is an adult information class about the basic beliefs of the Christian Church and the practices of Tallmadge Lutheran Church.  It is especially designed for all new members and those contemplating becoming members of the congregation.  A new class for January is forming now.  All materials will be provided without cost.  The class will meet Sundays, 9:15 a.m., in Room 12.  Interested?  Tell one of the Pastors.

The Best Question Ever is an adult class based on Andy Stanley’s book with the same title.  The class will use both a video presentation and group discussion to help participants “fool-proof’ their decisions with the questions: "What's the wise thing to do?" All are welcome.  Pastor Zachrich will be the teacher. (Gym)

Have a New Kid by Friday - Parents teach their children their ABCs before they enter school; now it's time to teach them the ABCs of life (Attitude, Behavior, and Character). In this study, Dr. Kevin Leman urges you to take his 5-day challenge to implement a new parenting strategy. Based on cause and effect instead of threats or fears, you'll soon be seeing lots of improvement in your child's behavior and experience a closer bond.  This class will also include a 30 minute video presentation by Dr. Kevin Leman.  Amber Styskal, DCE, will be the teacher. (Room 6)

In-depth in the Word is a continuing study of Scripture led by John Dailey.  It is an excellent choice for those who seek a deeper understanding of Scripture. (Room 5)

Sunday School for Ages Pre-K and Up

Sunday School is one of the best gifts parents can give to their children.  Through the years the lessons taught and learned grow in value.  God’s Word is taught.  Morals, values and ethics are established.  Faith is nurtured.  With the new year, give your child the best gift you can.  Bring him / her this Sunday at 9:15 a.m.

During the Week Study Groups -- All are welcome!

Monday Evenings (7:00 p.m.) - “Really Bad Girls of the Bible” will begin on January 4th, Room 7.  Jeanne Colosetti will be the leader. If you are interested in attending the class, purchasing the book, or have any questions, contact Jeanne at 330-296-2292.

Tuesday Mornings (10:00-11:30 a.m.)  -  The class will continue their study on the book of Job.  All are welcome.  Pastor Doug Riley is the teacher. (Room #5)

Wednesday Mornings for Men (6:30 a.m.) - Meet us at Taggarts, 48 Metric Drive, Tallmadge. Chris Tywon is the leader.

Wednesday Evenings (5:30 p.m.) - The Families in Faith ChristCare group will resume meeting on Wednesday, January 6th from 5:30 – 7 p.m., in Room 7.  This small group ministry allows families to spend time together, sharing dinner, friendship, and the joys and challenges of life. Preschool and school age children are invited to participate in organized activities including games, crafts, Bible study and music, while parents meet in small groups for study. We are always looking for more people to join us! For more information, please contact Linda Weyandt at 330-633-4285 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
